Booking & Cancellation Policy

Wild Breeze Safaris – Breathe the Wild With Us

We want your safari with Wild Breeze Safaris to be smooth, transparent, and enjoyable from start to finish. This Booking & Cancellation Policy explains how bookings, payments, changes, and cancellations are handled. By confirming a booking with us, you are agreeing to this policy, along with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, on behalf of everyone travelling in your group.


1. Booking & Confirmation

1.1 Your safari is confirmed once we receive a 60% deposit of the total cost and send you a written confirmation.

1.2 All bookings depend on the availability of accommodations, permits, transport, and other services at the time of confirmation.

1.3 The person making the booking represents and confirms the details for everyone included in the trip.

2. Prices & Payments

2.1 Prices are shared in the agreed currency and reflect costs at the time your safari is quoted.

2.2 A 60% deposit is required to secure your booking.

2.3 The remaining balance should be paid at least 30 days before your safari begins, unless we agree otherwise in writing.

2.4 Bookings made within 30 days of departure require full payment at the time of confirmation.

2.5 Any bank charges or transfer fees are kindly covered by the client.

2.6 Some services, such as gorilla and chimpanzee permits, must be paid for in full in advance and are subject to strict non-refundable policies set by the authorities.

3. Cancellations & Changes

3.1 If you need to cancel a booking, please let us know in writing as soon as possible.

3.2 Cancellation charges depend on the policies of lodges, airlines, park authorities, and other service providers.

3.3 Gorilla and chimpanzee permits cannot be refunded or transferred once issued.

3.4 Any refunds that may apply will be processed in line with our Refund Policy, after deducting any non-recoverable costs.

3.5 Changes to a confirmed itinerary may result in additional costs, depending on availability and supplier charges.

4. Passports, Visas & Health

4.1 Guests are responsible for ensuring they have valid passports, visas, vaccinations, and any required travel documents.

4.2 We recommend consulting a qualified medical professional before travelling to discuss any health precautions.

4.3 Wild Breeze Safaris cannot be responsible for delays or extra costs caused by missing or incomplete documentation.

5. Travel Insurance

5.1 We strongly require all guests to have comprehensive travel insurance covering medical expenses, emergency evacuation, trip cancellation, and personal belongings.

5.2 Safaris and wildlife experiences involve adventure and nature, and guests take part at their own comfort and discretion.

6. Guest Conduct

6.1 We kindly ask all guests to respect local laws, cultures, wildlife, and the guidance provided by our safari team.

6.2 In rare cases where behaviour puts others, wildlife, or property at risk, we may have to end services early. Unfortunately, refunds cannot be offered in such situations.

7. Responsibility & Safety

7.1 Wild Breeze Safaris works with trusted partners such as lodges, transport providers, and activity operators to deliver your experience.

7.2 While we always do our best to keep you safe and comfortable, we cannot be responsible for delays, losses, or disruptions caused by circumstances outside our control.

7.3 By joining a safari, guests acknowledge that wildlife and adventure travel naturally involve some level of risk.

8. Changes During Your Safari

8.1 Occasionally, changes may be needed due to weather, wildlife movements, road conditions, or operational reasons.

8.2 Any changes will always be made with your safety, comfort, and overall experience in mind.

9. Unforeseen Events

We cannot be held responsible for delays or cancellations caused by events beyond our control, such as extreme weather, natural disasters, government actions, health emergencies, or supplier issues.

10. Photography & Memories

Unless you let us know otherwise, we may use photos taken during our safaris for marketing and promotional purposes. We love sharing the Wild Breeze experience!

11. Feedback & Concerns

11.1 If anything concerns you during your safari, please speak with your guide or our team right away so we can help.

11.2 If you still have concerns after your trip, feel free to write to us within 28 days of completing your safari.

12. Local Law

This Booking & Cancellation Policy follows the laws of the Republic of Uganda, where Wild Breeze Safaris is proudly based.
